About Emma-lee

Hi! I’m Emma-lee.

I am currently working towards my full Postpartum Doula certification with Doula Training Canada, and servicing Cochrane, ON and surrounding areas. I’m Mama to a sweet little boy named Hyder and wife to an amazing man, Leighton. My passion for Moms and babies began after I gave birth to my son and realized how unprepared I truly was. I grew up with six younger siblings and was always surrounded by lots of babies and little kids, so I thought the first few weeks and months of motherhood would be a breeze. Turns out it is a lot more than just changing diapers and being woken up in the middle of the night. My postpartum experience made me realize just how much our North American culture skips past postpartum recovery and education. By offering resources and care to new families, I hope to help empower moms as they begin their journey in motherhood.
